Amédée is an expert in paint color. With degrees in Architecture and Fine Arts from The Rhode Island School of Design, her career has included tenure in the design studios of Frank Gehry, Eric Owen Moss, Richard Meier, Pierce-Allen, Steven Sclaroff and Thomas O’Brien/Aero Studios. Her architectural renderings and models are featured in Rizzoli monographs of both Gehry and Meier.

 

Amédée appreciates and designs spaces as both an emotional experience, wielding color and light, and a narrative, in which a client's personal story can be communicated. Her distinctive work and specific understanding of color naturally transitioned her focus to Film. Amédée worked as an Art Director for projects with MTV, Tim Burton, and several feature films.

 

Amédée revels in the transition from uptown to downtown,  High Society to 

Outsider Artist, as long as a genuine feeling is created. She now designs privately for a diverse client roster including Courtney Love, Charlie Rose, Cynthia Coudert, MC Williams and Hollis Wilder of Food Network.

 

Amédée's love of food and entertaining is renowned; she delights in surrounding herself with friends at one of the many lavish themed parties she has assembled somewhere in the New York Metropolitan area.
